Mansour Gavin Hosts LNA Americas Fall General Meeting
Mansour Gavin was thrilled to welcome members of the Legal Netlink Alliance (LNA) to Cleveland for the Americas Fall General Meeting, bringing together colleagues from across the network for several days of discussion, learning and connection.
Brendon Friesen, LNA US Board President, served as the MC for the meeting, which opened with a regional focus exploring the history, economic importance, and environmental future of Lake Erie and the Great Lakes. Speakers James V. Stouffer, Jr., Larry Fletcher, and Dr. Chris Winslow shared insights into the Stouffer family’s Cleveland legacy, the lake’s economic and environmental significance, and the science behind its ongoing challenges. The program then shifted to member introductions and a warm welcome to LNA’s newest member firms.
Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne broadened the conversation to regional development across Northeast Ohio, while Bruce Rinker of Cleveland Metroparks and Scott Skinner of the North Coast Waterfront Development Corp. highlighted major projects and opportunities shaping Cleveland’s parks and waterfront.
Artificial Intelligence was another major focus of the meeting. The Accellis team led a practical session on AI adoption in law firms, covering implementation, cybersecurity, confidentiality and the rapidly evolving AI landscape. An interactive panel of LNA member firms, moderated by Brendon Friesen, followed with a discussion of how firms are incorporating AI into their practices. The conversation explored a range of timely issues, including client disclosure, autonomous AI agents, cybersecurity, and business resilience.
Mansour Gavin’s own Tony Coyne and Scott Simpkins also shared insights on the Cleveland Port Authority and Irishtown Bend Park, connecting the meeting’s broader themes of infrastructure, investment and regional development to projects here at home.
Beyond the conference sessions, members experienced some of Cleveland’s cultural and culinary highlights, including the Union Club, Cleveland Museum of Art, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Fahrenheit restaurant, and A Christmas Story House.
From strengthening relationships across the LNA network to exploring Cleveland’s past, present, and future, while considering how technology will shape the legal profession, the meeting offered a valuable opportunity for members to connect and share ideas.
